The Board of Directors of ACMPN is a policy board. The Executive of the Association is comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure and 2 Members. These professionals function as stewards of the Association. Their responsibilities involve ensuring the procedures, policies, and any initiatives are aligned with the best interests of the members and the public. They also make sure that members are up to date about with research and outreaches to further enhance their profession.

The Board of Directors is the direct link to the voice of our ACMPN membership. As elected officials, they bring to the table the concerns, interest,s and contexts of counselling, matchmaking, and psychotherapy professionals across the country.

After over 35 years in the field of administration and management, the discovery that people with great destinies pursue the wrong profession or lifestyle, but don’t have the correct channel to guide them began Dr Jean’s journey into the field of counseling and guidance. She deals with issues from the spiritual, soul and body angle because all are interconnected. A Minister of God, certified Life Coach/Psychologist, a Neuro-Linquistic Programmer, and an Emotions Therapist, Dr Jean mentors, tutors, trains, and counsels people from all parts of the world. Her work has also taken her into the field of gender activities as a Visionary of an NGO called, ACTS Generation, that empowers both genders, but especially the female gender, with a focus on domestic violence and abuse. Dr. Jean runs various programs and workshops to empower people on emotional intelligence, self mastery, and self development skills to enable them deal with issues of life. She had her graduate studies in the UK, Metropolitan University, and also, over the years, attained a Masters in Counseling and Doctorate in Humanities (hc).

The Fixer, Dr. Tolulope Oko-Igaire is one of Africa’s Foremost Couple, Sex & Mental Health Therapists. A Clinical Counselor with demonstrated experience in Depression Treatment, PTSD Counseling, Human Sexuality, and Dysfunctional Behavioral Treatment. Also, a leading Gestalt, CBT, and Psychodynamic expert with specializations in Personality Disorders, Sexual Dysfunction, and Family Dynamics.

Experience and professionalism distinguished Dr. Tolu in an environment where professional Counseling is non-existing and discussing Mental and Sexual Health issues is considered taboo. She singlehandedly took Mental Health Counseling and Psychotherapy from the backward traditional level to a more professional forefront, blending Counseling skills and ethical values. With hundreds of articles and publications to her credit, Dr. Tolu has worked with various Multinationals, Governmental and Non-Governmental organizations across Africa in various capacities. As a volunteer, Speaker, and Facilitator on Mental Health Issues.

Originally, A university of Port Harcourt Social scientist graduate, at a Master’s level, Dr. Tolu is an alumnus of The International Institute of Counseling United Kingdom. With years of research work, an Advanced Diploma, and extensive training in specialized fields of Mental Health Counseling like Grief and Bereavement, Crisis, Child & Adolescent, and Couples & Family Counseling, she is a United States certified human sexuality specialist. Dr. Tolu has an honorary doctorate degree in counseling from The Development Institute of Counseling United States.

She is currently the President of The Association for Counseling, Matchmaking & Psychotherapy of Nigeria ACMPN and a member of numerous International Counseling & Psychotherapy organizations. Dr. Tolu prides herself on being up to date with the most recent scientific literature surrounding Mental Health Counseling and Human Sexuality. She is currently rounding up her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Texilla American University as well as a Ph.D. in Sexology at the International Institute of Clinical Sexology Florida. Dr. Tolu has received numerous awards both in Nigeria and abroad and is currently The Executive Director of The Institute of Counseling in Nigeria.

Pastor Egra Okiotor Akpofure is a distinguished financial leader and a devoted servant of God, exemplifying the intersection of professional excellence and spiritual commitment. With over 30 years of experience in financial leadership, he is a versatile Chief Financial Officer known for his expansive expertise in navigating complex financial challenges, driving company-wide policy development, and spearheading transformative growth. His career is marked by a deep commitment to operational improvement and corporate governance, with core skills in cash flow planning, treasury management, tax strategy, and capital structure optimization.

Pastor Egra holds two master’s degree, One in Banking & Finance from the prestigious University of Benin and another in Theology from the Redeemed Christian Bible College, he also has bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

His professional journey is distinguished by key leadership roles, including serving as the Finance Director and Company Secretary of Michelin Tyre Services Co. Ltd., Lagos. Currently, he is a Director and CFO at TechnipFMC LTD (a fortune 500 Company), where his strategic financial oversight continues to enhance operational performance and foster financial resilience. He also sits on the board of Nigeria-Norwegian Chambers of Commerce.

Throughout his career, Pastor Egra has garnered accolades, including the William Shuman CFO award in 2012 for his outstanding contributions at TechnipFMC. In March 2023, the Delta State government honoured him as a Justice of the Peace (JP) in recognition of his contribution to community development. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Nigeria Institute of Credit Administration (Chartered), and a member of the Institute of Directors, his commitment to excellence is further evidenced by his contributions to corporate governance and financial reporting.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Pastor Egra’s spiritual journey in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) since 1991 is a testament to his unwavering faith and leadership in the Kingdom of God. His pastoral service began in 2000 as the Parish Pastor of RCCG, Chosen Generation Parish, Port-Harcourt, from where he was transferred to Dayspring Parish, also in Port-Harcourt. Since then, he has progressed through various leadership roles, including being Zonal Pastor at RCCG, Powerlink Chapel, Lekki Lagos. He was transferred to Lagos Province 20 in September 2018 as Assistant Pastor in Charge of Province (Admin) and pastor of RCCG, Glory House, Lekki. Currently, he serves as the Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG, Beautiful Gate Parish, leading with humility and a heart for community development. Pastor Egra’s dedication to the service of the Lord and His people has been unwavering with his leadership impacting not only the church but also the broader community.

Happily married to Pastor Sarah Bamidele Akpofure, Pastor Egra is blessed with four children serving the Lord with joy, outstanding stewardship and faith influencing many positively.

Yetunde Oriolowo is a Certified Clinical Counselor, mental health practitioner, lecturer, administrator, trainer and public speaker with a multidisciplinary academic and professional background spanning counseling, mental health, business administration, theology, Christian leadership and the biological sciences.

She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Aquatic Biology & Fisheries and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology and a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership Studies from the Redeemed Christian Theological College, Ogun State, Nigeria.

She is a Certified Clinical Counselor with a Diploma in Counseling from the Chartered Institute of Counseling in Nigeria. She is also an Alumna of Harvard University, where she obtained certification in Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking.

Yetunde serves as the President of the Association for Counseling, Matchmaking & Psychotherapy in Nigeria, contributing to the advancement of professional counseling, psychotherapy and relationship focused services in Nigeria.

She is also a Lecturer at the Redeemed Christian Theological College and a Lecturer at the Chartered Institute of Counseling in Nigeria, where she contributes to the education and professional development of students and emerging practitioners.

As a seasoned Administrator, Trainer and Public Speaker, she brings together academic knowledge, professional counseling expertise, leadership experience and practical communication skills in her work with individuals, families, professionals and communities.

Yetunde is a Christian and an ordained Minister of the Gospel. Her academic and professional pursuits are complemented by her commitment to Christian leadership, service and the development of individuals and communities.

She is married and blessed with children.

As a Professional Mental health Counselor, trained at the Institute of Counseling in Nigeria ;a Member of the Association for Counselling, Matchmaking and Psychotherapy; an Associate of the Chartered institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Certified Teen Coach from the Institute of Family Development and expertise in areas of Emotional Intelligence, Mentoring & Coaching.
Has years of experience in Relationship Management , and alliance with other Notable Mental health professionals, a volunteer and member of other formidable Mental health and Charitable Organisations.
She has successfully been able to provide support in the healing and recovery of Individual clients on issues related to Traumas, Depression, anxiety , stress and behaviour disorders using effective therapy.
Gardening is one of the things I enjoy for its many benefits, the topmost being stress reduction and mental clarity.
Beneficial collaboration with the Government, United Nations, International & local NGOs ,Educational Institutions, Mental health organizations, and Supportive Communities is a future she anticipates to assist many women and youths to become their remarkable selves.

Akin Adeoya’s distinguished career spans the entire marketing and communications spectrum, with key milestones in Advertising (Rosabel Advertising, 1993–1995), Print Media (THISDAY, 1996–2000), and Strategic Consultancy (Marketing Mix, 2000–Present). Across more than 25 years of practice, he has driven end-to-end execution in concept development, strategy, content creation, brand positioning, and event production.
As an Advisory Board Member for the Association for Counseling, Matchmaking and Psychotherapy of Nigeria (ACMPN), Akin brings a deep wealth of institutional knowledge, strategic oversight, and public advocacy expertise to advance the growth, public trust, and professional credibility of Nigeria’s mental health, counseling, and relationship services sectors.
An award-winning writer, Akin earned the Tanure Ojaide Prize for Poetry (OAU, Ife, 1989) and authored iconic advertising copy, including First Bank’s celebrated landmark campaign (“It will take 100 years to tell what First Bank has done in 100 years”, 1994). Over his career, he has earned numerous awards and industry commendations for creative leadership and strategic communications.
As the founder and leader of Marketing Mix, Akin and his team supported MTN Nigeria—a top global brand—with top-tier PR and events management services for nearly 15 consecutive years. His consulting portfolio includes leading multinational corporations such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever, and Nestlé, alongside high-level strategic advisory for state governments, including Ekiti and Lagos States.
A prolific essayist and public commentator, Akin initiated the documentation and analysis of Nigeria’s marketing communications industry through the award-winning Campaign page in THISDAY Newspapers during the late 1990s. He expanded this media legacy as the publisher of Marketing and Management (M2)—Nigeria’s pioneer marketing communications specialist publication—and its precursor, Brands and Products, both of which ran successfully for over a decade.
A dynamic entrepreneur, Akin’s venture experience spans agriculture, alternative energy, hospitality, and software development. He remains a keen observer of emerging communications trends, a connoisseur of original problem-solving frameworks, and an active consultant guiding individuals and organizations through critical strategic, relational, and business challenges.
