The Board of Directors of ACMPN is a policy board. The Executive of the Association is comprised of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure and 2 Members. These professionals function as stewards of the Association. Their responsibilities involve ensuring the procedures, policies, and any initiatives are aligned with the best interests of the members and the public. They also make sure that members are up to date about with research and outreaches to further enhance their profession.

The Board of Directors is the direct link to the voice of our ACMPN membership. As elected officials, they bring to the table the concerns, interest,s and contexts of counselling, matchmaking, and psychotherapy professionals across the country.

After over 35 years in the field of administration and management, the discovery that people with great destinies pursue the wrong profession or lifestyle, but don’t have the correct channel to guide them began Dr Jean’s journey into the field of counseling and guidance. She deals with issues from the spiritual, soul and body angle because all are interconnected. A Minister of God, certified Life Coach/Psychologist, a Neuro-Linquistic Programmer, and an Emotions Therapist, Dr Jean mentors, tutors, trains, and counsels people from all parts of the world. Her work has also taken her into the field of gender activities as a Visionary of an NGO called, ACTS Generation, that empowers both genders, but especially the female gender, with a focus on domestic violence and abuse. Dr. Jean runs various programs and workshops to empower people on emotional intelligence, self mastery, and self development skills to enable them deal with issues of life. She had her graduate studies in the UK, Metropolitan University, and also, over the years, attained a Masters in Counseling and Doctorate in Humanities (hc).

The Fixer, Dr. Tolulope Oko-Igaire is one of Africa’s Foremost Couple, Sex & Mental Health Therapists. A Clinical Counselor with demonstrated experience in Depression Treatment, PTSD Counseling, Human Sexuality, and Dysfunctional Behavioral Treatment. Also, a leading Gestalt, CBT, and Psychodynamic expert with specializations in Personality Disorders, Sexual Dysfunction, and Family Dynamics.

Experience and professionalism distinguished Dr. Tolu in an environment where professional Counseling is non-existing and discussing Mental and Sexual Health issues is considered taboo. She singlehandedly took Mental Health Counseling and Psychotherapy from the backward traditional level to a more professional forefront, blending Counseling skills and ethical values. With hundreds of articles and publications to her credit, Dr. Tolu has worked with various Multinationals, Governmental and Non-Governmental organizations across Africa in various capacities. As a volunteer, Speaker, and Facilitator on Mental Health Issues.

Originally, A university of Port Harcourt Social scientist graduate, at a Master’s level, Dr. Tolu is an alumnus of The International Institute of Counseling United Kingdom. With years of research work, an Advanced Diploma, and extensive training in specialized fields of Mental Health Counseling like Grief and Bereavement, Crisis, Child & Adolescent, and Couples & Family Counseling, she is a United States certified human sexuality specialist. Dr. Tolu has an honorary doctorate degree in counseling from The Development Institute of Counseling United States.

She is currently the President of The Association for Counseling, Matchmaking & Psychotherapy of Nigeria ACMPN and a member of numerous International Counseling & Psychotherapy organizations. Dr. Tolu prides herself on being up to date with the most recent scientific literature surrounding Mental Health Counseling and Human Sexuality. She is currently rounding up her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Texilla American University as well as a Ph.D. in Sexology at the International Institute of Clinical Sexology Florida. Dr. Tolu has received numerous awards both in Nigeria and abroad and is currently The Executive Director of The Institute of Counseling in Nigeria.

Yetunde Oriolowo holds bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lagos state University, Lagos Nigeria. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Theology and a Master’s degree in Christian leadership studies with specialization in Mentoring and Counseling from The Redeemed Christian Bible College, Ogun State, Nigeria. An alumni of Harvard university, with certification in The Art of persuasive writing and public speaking. She is a certified Clinical Counselor with diploma in Counseling. She runs City Counselor & Therapist. A seasoned Administrator, well established entrepreneur ( CEO African Violet Ltd). She is a lecturer at The Redeemed Christian Bible College and The Institute of Counseling in Nigeria. She is married and blessed with children.

Dr Onogu Ernest Ugochukwu MBBS,MSC (Haematology and blood transfusion), Substance abuse therapist, Lifestyle medicine physician; Clinical haematologist, professional clinical counselor ,1st Vice President ACMPN. He is a clinical haematologist, with special interest in Clinical Counselling. He is a Drug Addiction Therapist involved in Drug/Substance Abuse/Addiction Mitigation, Prevention , Control ,Withdrawal and Rehabilitation. He is a Premarital Genetic Counselor; Marriage Therapist. He is the managing Therapist of Counselling Solutions (Sane Mind Centre) located in Lagos. Dr onogu Ernest is a Certified Professional Clinical Counselor; Associate Member of ACMPN ,.He is a lifestyle Therapist and Associate Member of Lifestyle Medicine Society of Nigeria . He is a mental health practitioner

Enaholo Emmanuel is a renowned Child/Adolescent therapist, who have vast experience in child and adolescent and all forms of Mental health counseling, He started his tertiary Education with Bsc(ed) from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Edo State, with a degree in Counseling Psychology, He holds a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Lagos (Unilag), he also has several certificates and a Diploma in counseling from both International and Local institutions. 

He started his Counseling Practice as a Rehabilitation counselor in Edo state Correctional center as a volunteer, and later pursue his career as a School counselor in Kuramu Junior Secondary School(Victoria Island, Lagos), He has 2 years of experience in the field of Human resource and he is the past Registrar of the Institute of Counseling in Nigeria. 

With years of research works, an Advanced Diploma, and extensive training in specialized fields of Mental Health Counseling and psychotherapy like CBT, Grief and Bereavement, Crisis, Child & Adolescent, He is a member of the Counseling Association of Nigeria (Casson) and Association of Counseling, Matchmaking and Psychotherapy of Nigeria (ACMPN). He currently plays the role of counselor to thousands of people all around the world. His life revolves around helping people as a mentor, counselor and tutor.

She supports Women and Youths towards a balanced mental wellbeing, to make our world a better place for us all to live in.
As a Professional Mental health Counselor, trained at the Institute of Counseling in Nigeria ;a Member of the Association for Counselling, Matchmaking and Psychotherapy; an Associate of the Chartered institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Certified Teen Coach from the Institute of Family Development and expertise in areas of Emotional Intelligence, Mentoring & Coaching.
Has years of experience in Relationship Management , and alliance with other Notable Mental health professionals, a volunteer and member of other formidable Mental health and Charitable Organisations.
She has successfully been able to provide support in the healing and recovery of Individual clients on issues related to Traumas, Depression, anxiety , stress and behaviour disorders using effective therapy.
Gardening is one of the things I enjoy for its many benefits, the topmost being stress reduction and mental clarity.
Beneficial collaboration with the Government, United Nations, International & local NGOs ,Educational Institutions, Mental health organizations, and Supportive Communities is a future she anticipates to assist many women and youths to become their remarkable selves.
